Ever hear someone say, " I am going to be a millionaire." or " I want to be a millionaire." ? It means nothing, it leads to nothing within itself. If one has no concept of true happiness, then the money will not make it happen. One can be totally content, happy and secure on very little.
You see, one can have much and live so beneath their expected lifestyle. An earthly example would be hoarders. They can have a lot of money to buy and buy stuff. They let the stuff keep coming in until there is no room for order or a normal healthy lifestyle. They are now living in poverty. Why, because they can't cook, entertain, take a carefree bath or sleep in a bed with clean sheets. You may think, well if they have a lot of money they could just start over. Maybe, but even if they start over they will go back to their lifestyle if they do not change their lifestyle from the heart, actually their thinking.
The answer isn't being a millionaire or really rich. The answer is how you value yourself and what you already have. You see, if you know who you are in Christ, you have what the world calls self esteem. It is really called knowing your value, not self esteem. God made you his heir when you gave your heart and life to Jesus. You are valuable, you can and should live a rich quality of life. Like my grandmother Grace once said, "Anyone can afford a bar of soap!" No one needs to go dirty.
How does one Squander their Riches? There are so many ways to live in poverty yet be quite well off.
1. When your car breaks down, instead of repairing and doing maintenance one will finance a new one. This is an easy way out. I do realize the very rich may do better trading in a car every year because this would be affordable to them since they have chosen to always drive a new car. For those of us who are moderately making it yet not poor, it is better to stay away from a car payment. You do this by tender loving care. Drive your car until it is no longer able to move. Keep up your maintenance, it is cheaper than a new loan. Yes, the new car makes you feel rich, gives your self esteem a boost and it smells good! What about your next trip to the grocery store and you feel the need to pinch a little more because of the New Car? Now how rich do you feel?
2. One is quite well off if they have a fairly new iphone. It works great. No problems, but it's not the latest! There is now a newer iphone that does this and that. Wow, it is amazing. All the apps are wow! Where is your contentment in having a perfectly usable phone that works great? Will an upgrade bring you more happiness? Is it making you a smarter, more hip and modern person? Or is it a constant chase and discontentment to keep up! Keeping up can be so costly and exhausting, and for who or what? When do you rest and feel whole? Contentment is real maturity and integrity.
3. No peace or happiness will come with all the stuff. It will drown you in a poverty lifestyle. On the show Hoarders, you see new sacks of goods from Macy's, Penney's or Lowes just thrown in a pile with other sacks and trash. They have so much money invested in New Garbage! Now they are in deep poverty because the tub is full of trash and sacks of New Stuff so they can not take a bath. The day I can't take a bath I am in deep poverty! Their kitchen is over run with dishes new and dirty. They were poverty stricken when their money ran out because of buying all the Stuff and no place to put it and no way to use it. What caused their Poverty! Thinking they needed More and More and never being content and satisfied with what they had. They placed their value/worth in keeping up and having stuff.
4. Junk Food Diet, Smoking, Drinking and taking Drugs lead to poverty. How can I say that? Am I judging? No, it is just the plain truth. Think about the cost of Junk Food. A diet of processed sugar and garbage are cheap in dollar amount sometimes, but your body does pay a price. The price will lead to poverty in your health. Smoking is very expensive and it can ruin your health. Drinking and Drugs are costly and lead to health problems. This all leads to an impoverished body and finances. What about the poverty in relationships because of these things? What are we teaching our loved ones? A lifestyle beneath you. A lifestyle beneath what God intended for us. We have power over all these things through Jesus Christ. We are given the power of Choice.
5. On the flip side of over doing it what have you gained if you have Perfect House and a Betty Crocker Kitchen and your kids are out of control, lost or hurting for your attention? You and your children are in poverty. They need your attention and order but not perfection. What will they remember when grown, those beautifully perfectly made beds or the times you played with them and listened to their dreams and even their fears of today's world. Only Jesus can help us to do all we need to do. He wants us to enjoy our children and be there for them. Let him have the cares of this world. He wants us to be free from fear so we can be there for our children. We do not have to be bound with worries. You have power over the enemy who torments you with worry. Jesus gives you power over the enemy through his name. Call upon him. Touch his garment, press through for your petitions. It is God's will to be free from worry.
Jesus will help us to do the right thing. If you really want to live a Rich life, you can. You can be so rich in the Lord and be blessed with Integrity and Contentment! You will feel in control by not letting the allure of this world tell you what makes you rich. You will not be bound any more. Jesus will set you free. It's not a Money amount. It's a contentment and power over being seduced by the world and lies of the enemy about your self worth, amount.
The best feeling in the world is to live within your means. Being content with what you have is a peaceful state. It is what Jesus called us to do. Your circumstances can change. There are times you may just survive and be totally blessed with your needs being met. We can ask for a more prosperous life. God wants to give us the desires of our hearts, but we first need to be trusting towards him and content that he will bless us according to his will. Seek him and his righteousness first and all these things will be added unto you. There is such Power in being content and taking care of what God has entrusted to us.
We are all human and have struggled with some of these things. It has taken many years for the Lord to teach me that no matter how much money my husband makes, I lived in poverty when I was living beneath where God wanted me. After receiving the Holy Ghost I was given power over the enemy and practiced my heritage. I have been set free from many things in my life. I know my heritage. I know the promises God has made. We have power over the enemy. I do not have to be bound. God has truly set me free. This is real. He has set me free from cigarettes and many other things over the years. I am not saying those who smoke are sinners, no not at all. I am saying it is being Bound to something that hurts your health. Being bound is an awful way to live. 1 John 2:1 If we do sin we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ. Yes, I am saying we can sin and I do still slip up sometimes, but Jesus will bring me back to right standing with him again. I do not have to be bound to a certain bondage. I have overcome through Jesus. That is your heritage. There is power in the Holy Ghost! I did not know this power after being saved. I practiced this power after being Baptized in the Holy Ghost!

Perfect
It's so nice to think we can plan our life. We have it all figured out. It is a perfect plan. We will marry the perfect person, have a perfect job, perfect home and perfect children. So, we are now in bliss because we are perfect. No trials, nothing to scar our dream image of what life is supposed to be. Just what is Perfection?
Perfection is not the perfect idea above. What perfection are we if we never have a trial or crises? Who would not pass the test if all went well? How easy to appear all together when life is passing out blessings after blessings. What is perfection? How do we handle the not so perfect world when what we built in our minds has failed? I believe true perfection is how we behave and deal with real issues and crises.
One loses a job, a family member is in crises or something ugly changes your life and your perfect world. You can remain perfect if you realize what perfection is! It is how you handle the real crises! The imperfect world we live in. Only Heaven will be perfect. There will never be our idea of perfect on earth at all times. I mean at all times! You will face things that will make you feel lesser than trash. Your real worth is not defined by the awful situation, but how you handle it with dignity. That is real perfection.
It is acceptable to need help. It is acceptable to appear less perfect than what the world pictures it to be. If you are real with a crises and face it with responsibility, that is perfection. So, you don't have the dream idea of what you thought it should be. Things happen, life happens. How do we handle the crises? Do we ignore it and hope it will go away? Pretend it does not exist and let our loved ones suffer in order to appear to others as normal? What perfection is that? Didn't Jesus say we would have trials? We would be mocked at times? Talked about?
The one we have to please in the end is Jesus. Hold on to him and trust in him only. He told us in his Word troubles would come at times. He promises to help us through them. Don't let the enemy lie to you by telling you there is shame in going through a troubling time. Hold on to him and he will see you through. When you call on his name he will see you through with dignity and honor. It pleases him for one to handle the imperfect situation with perfect trust and behavior. Doing what is best and not what appears best according to the world. Don't be ashamed of your trials. Handle them with faith, kindness and patience. That is perfection!
If the glass of milk is spilled, it is life. You may feel it is not perfect anymore. Behaving with anger, grumbling and unbelief is what makes it not perfect! Your dinner is not ruined by the spill! It can be ruined by your perception and behavior of the spill!

Starting From November 3, 2012 thru December 1, 2012 I Have Been Losing Ground
This Month I Have Eaten Sugar, Starches, Cup Cakes,
Candy, Potato Casserole, Corn Bread Dressing and Chocolate Pie By Nelda! Yum! Home Made!
I Feel And See The Puffiness And Inflammation Returning. I Have To Catch It Now!
Since first writing this post, Christmas has come and gone. I have a new grand daughter and I have gained a grandson now living with me. From January 2013 till May 2013 Spencer has been like my own. School has been again an important part of our lives. We want Spencer to do really well. There has been more importance and newer interest in my life. Seeing the well being of Spencer is now #1. Thinking of me has not been so important anymore. I have realized in order to function I have to feel healthy and really be healthy to hold up to my new life changes. If I don't take care of my health I will suffer physical pain and depression. That would only drag down my grandson. He needs a cheerful upbeat caretaker.
I am entering a new phase in my life. I now am carrying the responsibility of seeing to it Spencer has a healthy lifestyle. Yes a 13 year old needs good nutrition and more work than using his thumbs on his games. This is a challenge. So, I figure in order to earn time playing games, he has to walk or ride his bike through our neighborhood at least once every day he plays his games. This is a start. How does an old granny get a 13 year old motivated? I am dreaming of ways. I will send him to tennis some days. He needs that push from me sometimes. He really wants a push. Kids do.
It scares me sometimes because I could ruin him. I could fail him. It is so important to teach him good and right things. I need to be an example and not just preach at him. I want to be a good example and us do and learn together. Get up and move! Take advantage of teachable moments.
Will be showing newer pictures soon. Been really stressed lately. learning I need to trust God and he will help me to do a good job with what he has called me to do.
I am a believer that what you eat will have dramatic effects on your mind and physical health. Without a prayer life I crumble. I have to always come back and take time to pray. I can not function by myself.
Sometimes I wish I had no responsibilities. I just could run free! Really I am just saying what we all at times feel. I mean those of us who really carry an importance in our lives.

Sentimental Baloney
Sentimental Journey? I get so tired of sentiment being mistaken for godliness. Even evil men love their children, not all love is godly. There are so many cute sayings being passed around facebook seeming so spiritual, but have no true godliness, it lacks the real holiness and power of God. Click if you really love Jesus or don't click and deny him and be ashamed. Sorry that sounds more like witchcraft to me. If you don't do this ritual you will be damned or Jesus will be offended! Are you serious? How foolish to play mind games concerning the things of God. I am aware most are to smart for this foolishness, yet look who is sharing this stuff, people who claim to be Christians!
Little stories with anecdotes or moral of the story quotes have no power of God, just a form of godliness, lacking the power. The Word of God says we will see more of this in the last days. I just read a story of an old man on facebook, who after he died the nursing home found a poem showing how his mind had never changed. The moral of the whole story was, we are to know that the elderly still have their feelings in tact. Wow, how beneficial! Duh! Really! They never tell the real story here. That this is a soul crying out for God! This elderly man goes back in his mind and realizes how fast his life went by, starting at age 10. It is so sad and sentimental, it pulls at your heart strings, but has no answers.
How sweet and tender most will feel after their heart feels a ting of pity for this man. Now they know they are human and feel so spiritual. They have not God just because they have a ting of feelings.
We Christians know the answer. This poor soul sees no hope, no way out, no more happiness, everything is gone. No future, it is all over. For his heart to dance he goes back to the memories of happier times. They leave us like this. This poor old man proves there are hungry, wanting souls forgotten. There was hope for this man. If only he had known Jesus. His heart would have danced for joy that he soon would see the Lord and have paradise for eternity.
Better things were yet to come, it was not over.
Have you ever felt such love for your child that it actually was painful. The love is so deep it has a hold on you. This place where you feel this love and pain most people call the heart. I believe this is the soul. This is a good description of the soul. This is the core, the conscious mind. This is your soul! This will live forever somewhere after you die. Those who have not asked Jesus to forgive them of their sins and save their soul will go to hell when they die. It does not matter how your heart felt for the elderly, the sick child on facebook or the person who has not found their love. It does not mean you are right with God but shows you are human and blessed with a soft heart.
You, the soul will live forever! You will someday die and your soul will immediately be aware of somewhere! Your soul will see heaven or hell. This is real! Adam and Eve ruined it for us. We all are born sinners. Don't be offended! The bible says this. We are born sinners no matter how sentimental we are. You can convince yourself you are so good because you can get watery eyes over the sad story you read or hear.
We are to humble ourselves "Jesus I know I was born a sinner, please forgive me and save me." You see you must be saved. This is the Word of God. We are to come to him as little children and repent and ask him to be the Lord of our lives. You are no different than any other human on earth, we all are born in sin.
Through salvation are we made perfect. After salvation that heart will be beneficial in really making a difference in a persons life. You see, this earth will pass away, if not real soon and you will pass away in probably 100 years give or take. What really matters is eternity, it is eternity. Heaven or Hell. Forget the foolish stuff and get real with God! What a blessing to reach the sick or needy through Jesus. You can help win a soul for eternity.
If you now on earth can feel and you have a thinking conscious, that part will continue after death. The new false teaching is there is no hell. This is the best trick the devil has come up with. These false teachers are in the churches preaching there is a heaven but no hell. This new age false doctrine makes it so easy to not worry if you make heaven or not. So! One thinks in his heart, "I will just sleep forever." This is a trick! The devil is working hard while time is running out. His only desire is to keep you from God and take you to hell. The soul will be aware. The soul will feel heart pain and physical pain.
I am aware of my time passing fast, then what? It is over in a vapor! It gets faster and faster. You can't get it back and you can't change the wasted years. God will forgive us of our sins and he will not bring them up again. We can have a fresh new start. A new beginning. You can be pure again, white as snow, no guilt. Worthy enough to live with the Lord in Heaven for eternity. Worthy through the blood of Jesus.

DARE TO ASK!
What I love about the Lord is the relationship I have with him. It is better than one I had with any parents. I can talk about anything with the Lord. I can ask him anything and not be shy. He is my Father! I saw where an online Pastor made the comment it would be wrong for one to ask for hair if they are balding. I assumed he was talking about men. Men or not I think any gender could ask for hair. Being a woman and knowing our hair is our glory, I surely feel I can ask him for thicker hair. Why would wanting hair, man or woman be vanity? We were given hair. I want the freedom to ask if I were losing my hair.
God knows the hairs on our head and he cares for the little things in our life. He encourages us to ask as little children, with child like faith, so I can not let someone tell me how and what to communicate to my Father. My relationship with him is personal. We are family. If I were to be out of line in any way, God would sweetly and gently let me know. There would be no condemnation or embarrassment.
If I lose the freedom to ask what I want, then my relationship is then running on fear and doubt. Where does faith come in. This same Pastor claims it is wrong to ask for another talent. I believe God plants a strong desire in our hearts for some talents because he wants to cultivate those talents in us for his glory and to be used to bless others. The word says if we are faithful in the one talent he gives us and do not bury it then it grows, he will give us more talents.
We are to let our request be known. I am thankful that God gives me freedom to make judgments on what to ask for. I realize asking for a 20 year old body would not be in the right spirit or would bring Glory to God. I know when my heart is thinking vanity. I have no need for a bright red 2012 corvette.( For someone else there could be a reason for the corvette,) See where I am coming from? I want freedom to ask what I want. God wants me to trust him and communicate with him. He knows my heart and will expose it to me if I ask. When one gets carried away in the things of the world God may use man to show us, but if we ask God to check our heart he will keep us.
I have freedom to come to my Father with anything! What a beautiful relationship, no third party comes between us. How would you feel if you had to go through your brother or sister before asking your daddy for something? Would you want your child to feel they had to go through a sibling in order to get the okay to talk to you? Of course not! I personally stand on his Word. He can not lie. I claim my heritage. This is our right to have Faith as little children. It is actually a command.
The disciples were asking Jesus who would be the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matt 18:3 Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matt 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matt 18:5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
Dare to ask. Have you noticed little children are not afraid to ask for what seems impossible? They are so child like that they do not realize what they are asking or what it takes to make it happen. They just trust and innocently ask. When my son, Robbie was about 3 or 4 years old he asked me if Jesus was really real. I wanted the Lord to give me the right words to help him understand that Jesus was real. I had not taught my children to believe in Santa Clause because I just chose to not fill them with the false feeling of a supernatural being who could see them, love them, watch over them and know everything they do, then take it away because it was just a fantasy. Them believing in Jesus is real and that I wanted planted in their hearts forever with real power. I wanted them to know that no one could ever take that truth from their heart or try to convince then that Jesus was not real.
The thought came to me for us to ask in faith as a child for some roses. I asked Robbie what color we should ask for. We both agreed yellow was unique and pretty. I took his little hands and he bowed his head and we asked Jesus to please send us some yellow roses to show his love and power to Robbie. Robbie I felt really needed and believed that Jesus would do what we asked. I know we are not to test God and be disrespectful. God does say, "prove me." When teaching about tithing.
This was not just a test, this was a child with a child like heart, no malice and it was not even his idea to do this. He was too young to think of it. I felt this was the Lords idea. I did not feel I needed to test the Lord, I knew he would come through for my innocent little boy.
About 30 minutes later Robert my husband came in the door to our bedroom where Robbie and I were still talking, caring a dozen yellow roses. Even I was taken back by how God did this. Robbie being so young at that time can still remember this! It took him by such surprise! There is no Santa that could have made that child happier. Robbie knows to live by faith and not by sight. God showed himself to my son that day. Robert and I were blessed and to this day still remember God's loving pleasure in showing himself to our son. God honors child like faith.
In these trying days we are seeing and hearing things that are causing our hearts to feel faint. It does not matter that you are old and feel you lost your innocence. You can humble yourself like a child again and God will honor you and bless you. He wants you to ask him for your needs. He wants you to believe as a little child. We never know if or when we might be in a disaster. There are so many things that can change our ordinary life. God wants us to ask him for help with an innocent child like faith. It feels so good to let him show himself to us and take care of us. This is his desire.
God knows the hairs on our head and he cares for the little things in our life. He encourages us to ask as little children, with child like faith, so I can not let someone tell me how and what to communicate to my Father. My relationship with him is personal. We are family.

You can't talk and reason with an evil spirit! You cast it out! You rebuke it and cast it out! We are given this power by the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 17:15-21
15: Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatic, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.
16: and I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
17: Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation. how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.
18: And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
19: Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
20: And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you.
21: Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting
He gave us the power to overcome and be set free from sin. He did not intend for us to use reason and mans' way to be set free. Mans' way will not work, it does not matter if he has a PHD or MBA after his name. You only need Jesus, faith and his delivering power. Reasoning and discussing with the devil will not set you free. Preaching the Word Of God is the only way. Deliverence is the only way. The Holy Spirit gives us POWER over the devil. You personally can cast out the spirit of pornography by faith!
I know, I have experienced an addiction in my life, from my youth(saved at age 9) until I was Baptized in the Holy Ghost at age 20. Then I was taught the Word of God! I was given the power to cast out evil spirits tormenting me and keeping me bound to a certain sin. I was heartbroken and sick of the sin that had me bound. It caused such guilt and made me feel separated from God, ashamed to talk to God and come to him in prayer and worship. I was sick of it and realized I had power over the devil and his evil spirits. I demanded this evil spirit to be cast out of me in the name of Jesus and immediately Jesus set me free. This was 40 years ago and I am still set free.
After I was Baptized in the Holy Ghost my sister wanted to be set free from cigarettes. The Lord told me to lay hands on her and bind the nicotine spirit. My sister was so happy to have me pray. She wanted so much to be free. After I prayed for her, God instantly set her Free. She has been free now for over 40 years. Today this is a fading practise and belief. People are bound, but call it addictions. They are using doctors trying to be free. Jesus is still the answer.
How blessed I am to know my rights as a child of God. We are given power over the enemy. This is how: The indwelling of the Spirit is not the same as the infilling of the Spirit. The indwelling of the Spirit, also called the Spirit of earnest ( seed of the :Holy Spirit) is given by the Father to every person who repents and believes in Jesus Christ. Romans 8:16, II Corintians 1:22 This is the spiritual baptism into Christ, or New Birth when one is saved.
The infilling is a gift offered to the children of God and is the "power from on high" (Luke 24:49) called the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. The infilling is received through faith and prayer and laying on of hands. Results of receiving the infilling includes Power To Overcome Sin, Boldness To Witness, Divine Comfort, Sweet Fellowship With Him, and a Fuller Manifestation Of Spiritual Gifts.
John 7:37-39 After Jesus was glorified, the living water of the Holy Ghost was poured out at Pentecost and numerous times thereafter to Empower believers with the following:
1. To receive the Holy Spirit Baptism you first must be saved, receive Jesus Christ as your Savior.
2. God will fill you with the Holy Spirit, but first you must have a heart of repentanse and be willing to humble yourself to recieve his gift by faith. The Lord looks not at the outward appearance but he looks on the heart (I Samualknoweth the hearts, bare them witness giving Them the Holy Ghost even as he did with us" Who is US ? (Acts 15:7-9) Us means the deciples! We too are given the gift of the Holy Ghost Power! Who is Them? The Gentiles and meaning all other ethnic groups as well as the Jewish deciples!! We who are Gentiles are the Them! The Baptism of the Holy Ghost here is talking about the power from pentecost and the manifestations that the deciples were given, we also are Given!!!
3. Ask your Heavenly Father to fill you with his Holy Spirit. You will receive the Power to Overcome.

Are You Really Good?
There are those who have been taught properly. They have been taught manners, how to treat others respectably. Some families have quoted Words from the Bible in order to teach their children kindness and respect towards others.
After reading in Luke Chapter 6: 41-47, it leads me to question whether it would be better to allow one to grow up a heathen, only if you do not teach salvation. The reason is, I would think being raised to be kind and correct in ones actions and behavior without the teachings of Jesus Christ and his coming to save the sinner, which we are all born, would just cause one to be self righteous.
Jesus is explaining to his disciples why the woman, a sinner should not be scolded for wasting the perfume on his feet. It reads:
There was a certain creditor which had two debtors, the one owed five hundred pence and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me there, which of them will love him the most?
Simon answered and said, I suppose that he to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.
And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thy house, thou gavest me no water for my feet, but she hath washed my feet with tears and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
Thou gavest me no kiss, but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
My head with oil thou didst not anoint but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins , which are many are forgiven, for she loved much. but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
How profound this is. Those who have much sin to be forgiven, loveth more the Forgiver. This causes me to think, what if one only teaches good acts to their children? Could in time their children begin to see they are much better behaved and kind than most. Then thinking they are righteous? No real understanding of their need to repent of their sins, not realizing all are born sinners.
We all are born sinners, no matter how good we are, or think we are. Jesus says we must repent of our sins. Yes, we are all born sinners. There is no other way to eternal life in heaven without recognizing this and humbling our self and asking Jesus to forgive us of our sins and him coming into our heart to change us. He then will make us righteous enough for God and eternity in Heaven.
Yes, you are different than those who are behaving like heathens in this world, but maybe only because you were taught to behave with kindness and manners. Without true repentance and salvation you are no different. Hell is real, and all who are not saved by grace will enter there. You only have to truly ask for forgiveness of your sins and ask Jesus to save you. You will be born again. You will be new again. You will be clean and free.
